In the interest of fun, I have been playing a few games of CoD with my buddies using my Master Exploder class.
He Consists of:
SCAR-H with Grenade Launcher
Thumper x2
Claymore
Flash Grenades
Scavenger
Danger Close
Ninja
Painkiller
While I'm not a huge fan of the SCAR-H, it is an incredibly strong and fairly accurate gun. Because of this, it can be used effectively with red perks that are not Stopping Power (although Stopping power is awesome too). Using Danger Close with the SCAR-H allows you to make more effective explosive shots (including the humiliating Thumper kills!) while still retaining a very strong primary weapon.
I have noticed that recently I have made great shots with Grenade launchers (near-direct hits) and have gotten only hit markers; sometimes even with 2 shots. Danger Close GREATLY reduces the chance of this happening, and allows you to strike at enemies that would otherwise be concealed behind cover.
I don't condone the constant use of explosives, because it can get really, really annoying to other players, but I believe that this build is great for letting off a little steam and playing games in a different style.
Alternatively builds include:
-Replacing the Thumper with the RPG-7 x2 or AT-4 (Although the Thumper seems more accurate and arcs)
-Replacing the Secondary weapon and blue perk with One Man Army (Useful for camping, although players find this annoying. Claymores are excellent with this to fortify your position. The biggest downside is the lack of a secondary weapon, so if you need to reload, you will be SOL.)
-Using C4, Semtex or Frag grenades (Based on preference and game type. C4 is excellent for Domination and objective games, while grenades are good all-around.)
